H6 Treated poles are suitable for use in salt water marine applications. NZ Poles provide H6 treatment to the entire pole range in two options:

H6 CCA Standard Strength.

- Treated to meet the minimum chemical loading requirements of NZS 3640:2003
- Suitable for most applications in Marine conditions around New Zealand

H6+ CCA Tropical Strength.

- Treated to exceed NZS 3640:2003. Chemical treatment loading for H6+ is 50% more than the New Zealand minimum standard.
- Recommended for poles being exported from New Zealand to tropical environments where they may be exposed to a higher level of marine hazards.

All of our H6 marine treated poles are independently verified by core sampling to check treatment penetration and chemical loading.

H6 treated poles are a non stock item, and is made to order. Please ensure you give adequate lead time for your project if requiring H6 treated poles. Typical lead times are around 6 weeks depending on your specific requirements.

In addition to H6 Marine Treating, further treatments can be made to enhance the durability of our poles in marine applications depending on your requirements. These can include HDPE sleeving poles, creosote alternative oils
